Solid "Tiger-Stripe" Canadian Maple cutting boards

The wood in these boards was originally destined for Gibson guitars but didn't quite make the grade. Slight flaws caused it to be cut instead into 2 cm thick, durable solid Canadian maple cutting boards with a unique shape and look. The unique design with bevilled edges makes the cutting board easy to handle and a pleasure to use.

The tiger-stripe feature in the wood's grain is a variation to the normal grain giving the illusion that the smooth wood is actually rippled. The degree of tiger stripe varies naturally between each board.
